Safety Policy

Cannex Contracting 2000 Inc. is committed to an effective safety program, which protects and promotes the health and safety of its employees, clients, contractors and the public.

In addition to protecting lives, the safety program includes work practices to safeguard property, environment and the communities in which we conduct our business.

In fulfilling this commitment to protect both individuals and property, management is responsible for providing effective leadership in maintaining the integrity of the safety program.  Management provides personal protective equipment as stated in the PPE Policy and communicates potential hazards.  Management also develops and implements safe work practices and procedures that workers must follow. 

Employees and contractors are responsible for adhering to all company safety rules, government safety regulations and all company policies.  They must also participate in safety meetings and safety training programs.  It is everyone’s responsibility to follow rules and work safe.

Our objective is a health and safety program that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum.  An injury and accident free workplace is our goal.  Through active participation and shared responsibility in all aspects of our safety program we can accomplish this together.
